Choosing your CMS Builder
There are approximately 1.12 billion websites that exist on the internet today. About 252,000 new websites get launched daily after that! The CMS (Content Management System) builder, WordPress, claims 43.4% of all websites currently. That’s over 532 million websites made with WordPress! Here’s a breakdown of other CMS statistics for comparison:
- Squarespace: 2% of ALL Websites
- Wix: 2% of ALL Websites
- Joomla: 2.1% of ALL Websites
- Shopify: 6.3% of ALL Websites
- Weebly: 6% of ALL Websites
So then the question is, why is WordPress so much more popular compared to other builders you see advertised, like Squarespace and Shopify?
User-friendly
WordPress offers beautifully made websites for all users, no matter your skill level may be. From various plugins and add-ons, to easy-to-follow themes and templates, you can create visually stunning websites for your business with ease.
If you desire to go beyond a beginner’s skill levels, you can hire WordPress Developers (like ASI) who will customize your site to match your business needs and wants.
Plugins!
WordPress is also extremely popular among developers for it’s large selection of plugins and extensions! From live builders and contact forms, to e-commerce and booking systems, if you dream it WordPress probably has it (for FREE). This is just another way WordPress allows users of all skill sets to navigate their sites.
SEO (Search Engine Optimization) with Ease
