Before working at ASI, what was the most unusal or interesting job you’ve ever had?
I had a summer job at a vineyard taking care of the vines, picking grapes, and working the grounds. I learned so much and found it so enjoyable getting to work outside every day.
When you have 30 minutes of free-time, how do you pass the time?
I have recently started gardening! My fiance and I bought our first home last year, so I am going to take this summer to work in our yard and learn more about how to not kill every plant I come in contact with.
What is the one TV show you can rewatch endlessly?
New Girl, all day!
Who would you most like to swap places with for a day?
My cats, they live their best lazy life every day.
If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
I’d love to learn a second language and actually be fluent in it.
What’s the best meal you’ve ever had?
Years ago, I was in Madison visiting my sister while she was in college. She babysat for a family that owned a restaurant downtown, and I had the best meal of my life there. It was just a simple sunflower seed risotto, but it was SO good! Sadly, the restaurant is no longer open 🙁 But I still have the picture of my meal to this day!
If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do?
Open a cat cafe! Or maybe buy a bigger house to open a cat rescue.
What chore do you absolutely hate doing?
I HATE folding laundry/putting it away. I’m pretty organized and clean in every other aspect of my life, besides putting my clothes away.
How do you define success?
If you find yourself becoming happier each year that passes, you are living a successful life.
What is the worst thing you did as a kid?
Apparently, I had this phase where I’d write my name on everything (mostly in sharpie). My parents were finding my sloppily written name all over our furniture and house for years. Sorry, mom.
You’re happiest when?
I’m happiest when it is a sunny day, the windows are open, and I’m relaxing with my fur babies.
What is the most important thing you have learned in the last five years?
That your whole life can change just in that 5 years. In less than five, I have graduated from college, bought a house, become a rescue/foster cat mom, got engaged, and received my amazing career with ASI.
Favorite Travel Spot?
After graduating high school I had the opportunity to go to Paris and Switzerland with my family. Switzerland was unlike anything I had ever seen before, and has been my favorite travel spot ever since.
What did you want to be when growing up?
There are two things I always wanted to be: an archaeologist working in Egypt, or an interior designer. Graphic Designer is the next best thing!
What do you like most about ASI?
I get to do what I love everyday, which is design! I design websites, logos, and print materials for clients from all over, while also managing our own website here at ASI. On top of that, I get to work with some pretty amazing coworkers. Everyone in this office is eager to help each other no matter what the problem may be.
As you might be able to tell, this woman keeps BUSY! But we’re so glad that she funnels a lot of that energy into making amazing websites and beautiful images for our customers – and for us!! Thanks Noelle for all you do!
